Portraiture marked the beginning of my artistic path and remains one of the most demanding and responsible forms of visual expression.

These works are not focused on likeness alone, but on presence, character, and inner stillness. A portrait exists here as a space of trust — between artist and subject — and as a conscious artistic choice rather than an act of vanity.

I continue to develop this direction as part of my ongoing practice, affirming the human presence as a central and enduring theme in art.
